HCCrane Art

Harper Crane studied Art Practice at Portland State University in the BFA program and
grew up in Beaverton, Oregon. Art has been an important means of self-expression for them throughout their life, functioning as a form of exploration and communication. Their illustrative work is done digitally and in water media like ink, acrylic, and watercolor. Outside of illustration, they enjoy creating with glass and metalwork. They’ve been learning lampworking since the age of 11 as the student of an Oregon glass artist.

Harper is interested in exploring narrative in art through short comics, zines, and other sequential projects which they self-publish online. They’ve shown locally at PSU’s Jordan Schnitzer Museum of Art and at Splendorporium in Portland, Oregon. 

They founded HCCrane Art in 2021.
